YOGA CLASS TAUGHT BY GURU MADE SUMANTRA
Class yoga at De Mantra will be taught by Guru Made Sumantra. He is a yoga teacher from Bali who has traveled the world introducing yoga with a Balinese tradition that he developed himself. He is the founder of the Markandeya Yoga Indonesia School who graduated many yoga and healer teachers with the legal certificate of the Indonesian government. He is also the founder of The Association of Indonesian Yoga Instructor (PIYI).
The yoga class can be attended by anyone, because it is packaged for health therapy and peace of mind. The class will combine movement with breath concentration to reflect the problematic parts of the body.
Therapeutic Yoga is a particularly effective practice for those recovering from, or living with, injury or illness. Therapeutic Yoga combines restorative yoga (supported postures), gentle yoga, breathwork, hands-on healing, and guided meditation techniques in such a way that it is an excellent choice for those who need something gentle yet effective for bringing the body into balance and reducing stress. Therapeutic Yoga is a deeply meditative experience – it provides the opportunity to step away from the busy-ness of the outside world and access the deeper wisdom that resides within us.

2. PRANA YOGA
Prana Yoga, is a yoga class that is intended to generate endurance, vitality and the power of mind concentration. This is good for those who always feel lazy, always sleepy and lacking enthusiasm in everyday life. Prana or vitality will be awakened in this yoga class, a unique yoga class whose method is packaged by Master Made Sumantra, from his experience as a healer in life.
3. KUNDALINI TANTRA YOGA
Heal and reconnect your body, mind and soul with our unique and innovative Kundalini Tantra Yoga developed and mastered by Guru Made Sumantra.
Kundalini Tantra Yoga is a technique and system of healing which comes from his personal mastery of Yoga and yearning to find the best method of healing the body. By combining flowing movements and specific breathing techniques it raises the energy within your body and activates your glands to regenerate. You heal from within and become more flexible, not only physically but your mental state of flow too.
We generally focus on our bodies and how to physically move and hardly ever on our breath which is happening regardless of thought. By concentrating and being aware of both we fully embody our true selves.
A dedicated practice of Kundalini Tantra Yoga brings students to a place of true holistic health; emotional, physical and spiritual. In yoga we all move together in a dance, the energy flowing, using the body as a Yantra to receive and create energy – God energy.
4. ATMAN YOGA MEDITATION.
This yoga class will direct yoga training at the soul level. Every body movement and flow of breath is followed by a deep soul. This class will reconcile the heart and keep the soul, and increase the spiritual self.
5. MARKANDEYA HATHA YOGA
Markandeya Hatha yoga is a classic Hatha yoga that is in accordance with the teachings of Markandeya. This yoga is for beginners who want to know and get health from practicing yoga. Hopefully, after attending the class, the participants felt more healthy about their body, mind and spirit.
6. MARKANDEYA CHAKRA YOGA
Markandeya Chakra Yoga is a type of yoga that functions to cleanse, strengthen and harmonize the chakras in the body. Markandeya’s yoga chakra combines special pranayama, asanas and meditation techniques, so that the participants get the overall benefits.
7. MARKANDEYA WANAPRASTHA YOGA
This yoga is specifically for the elderly who tend to prioritize tranquility in life. With pranayama, asanas and meditation developed at Markandeya Yoga Indonesia, participants are expected to be able to train their body and mind, so they can live a balanced life.
8. BALINESE PRANAYAMA
Balinese Pranayama is a breathing technique developed at Markandeya Yoga as an effort to self-healing and prevention of various types of physical and non-physical diseases. This class is for everyone who wants to feel the benefits. Classes will be guided directly by Guru Made Sumantra.
